P.........dew Progress
« on: July 25, 2010, 21:45:16 »
My three (or is it four) year old plant which was pruned severly in the winter has grown into quite a bushy plant about 2 feet tall. It is in the GH and is only just starting to flower. The one I grew from seed is a gangly plant over 4ft tall which branched into two at 19". It is also just starting to flower. This plant is indoors facing south by the patio windows

I remember that last year I was still picking ripe chillies in December so I am not panicking!

Has anyone else a progress report on their plants?

4 healthy plants but planted very late so I am anticipating bringing them in when it gets cold.

One will  get the single table growlight I have on a circular table in my living room, the African violet has to make it on the windowsill when it Pepperdoo comes in.The other three will have to windowsill it as well, but the chosen one should do very well.

They will eventually ripen l-d. I have one plant indoors and one in the GH. The one indoors has lots of green fruit and flowers on it. The other one isn't as far advanced. They need a long growing season and do take a long time to ripen - just have patience, 'cos fresh picked and filled with cream cheese they are really lovely!
