A bit of fun.
« on: December 15, 2004, 13:57:26 »
Partly inspired by Ina's quiz I have worked on a 100 question gardening quiz over the last few months. I have intially posted it on another garden board that I frequent and we raised a few £ for children in need.

I thought you might like to have a go. As some of the questions are picture ID's I don't think it will work in a chat session and 100 questions in chat could take an hour or 5!

So, I thought I could run it along the same lines as I did on the other site. I posted up the questions in one go. People are then allowed 3 days to come up with the answers. They do not post them to the board, rather send them to me as a private message. I then marked the answers over a day or two and then post up the results with my answers.

Let me know what you think and if you would like to take part.

Sounds good to me - just don't make the questions too hard - my brain doesn't function well at this time of year!!  :-[

Could you write the questions slowly as I am a bit of a slow reader.

Great Sanders, I'm going to take part. Will you announce the winner here? However could you think up 100 questions? I had a hard time making 20 for the quiz hahaha.

I think I would miss the interaction and instant results you get with the chat but it seems that we don't have a chat room anymore anyway. Was it taken off the board?

Oh yes, would love to take part! Though time is very limited at the mo, there appears to be some sort of thing happening on the 25th that has us all running round! :D

OK, What do people think about timing?

Christmas is obviously busy for most. Shall I give a week to answer the questions and to post back? Is that long enough?

And when to post the questions up? How about 22nd December?

Will we all be Googling for answers and rifling thru our Chrissie present Gardening Encyclopaedias - NO not at all!!  I'm sure we will all just delve deep in our stores of gardening knowledge and come up with the answers ::)  :halo:
