I plant mine out towards the end of the year when all the summer bedding is over. They will stay good for about 3 years most of the time. Mine are in the open as soon as they are big enought to prick out and then they make nice strong plants

They don't really need to be in a coldframe because they are quite hardy kymrob. If you have the room to put them out in the garden now then they would probably be better. Mine would be in their planting positions if I had the room.
During the winter they may start to look abit the worse for wear but as soon as the springtime comes the plants magically transform themselves into a bushy little plant and then there is no stopping them.
I grew mine underneath the fruit trees and they seemed to love the bit of shade and they lasted a lot longer than the ones in the sun.
Hope they do well for you ;D

I planted out my seedlings today, after watching those from the same batch quadruple in size in a couple of weeks. They are much better off in the round whilst the soil is still warm. Same with wallflowers.
