For reference I have a 9" span on my left hand.... that thing is the size of my fist :D... OK, it's an elephant, but it's still the biggest one I've ever grown 9pending the rest of the EG getting harvested....)

Looking good.

Maybe try a longer arm or shorter focal length for the pendings pic   ;D

Nice One!. Your photo has reminded me that I still have one in the ground, I left it to flower. It's now well over 6ft, and still attracting the bees  :D

My garlic too was very good this year. Second year of planting just plain supermarket bulbs (Spanish varieties) and they have been excellent. Bugger paying 5 euros at the garden centre, I bought the packet of bulbs for 99c at Lidl  ;D
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
