Frog
« on: July 10, 2010, 14:14:37 »
Filled my watering can from a butt at the plot today and found I'd scooped up a frog! I wasn't sure what to do with it. Do you think it was happy living in what is now not much more than a foot of water in a big blue butt with apparently no way of getting out? In the end I tipped it out on the grass and put a plank in the butt so if it goes back in it can get out. BTW if you're wondering how it got in there, the butt is (remarkably) sunk into the ground so the top isn't far off the ground.

It wouldn't have been very happy! I once found a small tank sunk into the ground, full of obviously starving frogs. Something to let them get out is the best answer.

Glad I did the right thing. :D Will look out for bubbles in case there are any more in there.
