welcome back!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Before you dismantle your poly - show us a picture.  I'm intrigued by the solar panel and battery set-up

I'd like to see that set up too.

I seem to remember Dick Strawbridge doing something like that.....

Or was it a heat sink with broken glass powered by a solar panel?

He had a heat sink with broken glass.  I kept thinking of some poor person trying to dig it all out at a later date.    He was using the excess heat during the day to store.

I also you like to see a pic of a solar panel on poly.  I have a greenhouse, still in boxes, and would like to heat it cheaply during the winter.

Thinking of a poly tunnel my self next year, just got rid of my chooks so a fair bit of land for something. I might pick your brain if thats ok. Neil
