My Victory plum tree.
Can't say I know the variety uless you mean 'Victoria'

1. will it still grow.

This will depend upon the point of the break!

If it has broken above the graft then you might be lucky and it will!

If below the graft then I would throw it because it is no longer a 'Victoria' it would be what ever the root stock is!

Has it literally broken in two or is it still partially attached?

If it is still attached you could try driving a stake in along side it ( something that should have been done at planting out time) then binding it with duct tape or similar, then with a bit of luck it might heal!

If it is in two parts then I would say it is a goner!

4. and has anyone any idea how long it will take to fruit.

This is obviously down to the tree healing itself so lets see if that happens first before considering when it will fruit!

there is a variety called Victory but the advice is still the same - I have had this happen to an apple tree a few years ago and amazingly it recovered - if some fruiting spurs have been left it will fruit and if there were none yet then only time will tell - good luck

I had a three-year-old apple tree broken off by vandals. It grew again from above the graft, which is the vital thing. After another three years, I let it fruit, and it's doing well. It's a pain, but as long as you get a bud from above the graft, the tree will recover.
