Christmas potatoes
« on: July 11, 2010, 10:01:03 »
I have just read in a gardening magazine a special offer for second potatoes and it worked out at about a quid a seed tuber!  That's just plain too much to even consider it.

Has anybody ever used one of the really early first harvested potatoes to grow a Christmas crop in the greenhouse?  Or have you used a (by now very well chitted I should imagine) leftover from the spring potato planting?
