hi pauline,
what a shame, why not either ask someone if they have a couple of day olds to bring on with it,or it will have to be a pet.not sure whether your other broodies would take to it or whether they may diown their own eggs.
im no chicken expert.have hatched in an incubator but with rather more success.
where are you based?

Are your other broody hens sitting on eggs?  If not, you could put the chick under one of them at night.  Approach from the rear so the hen doesn't see what you are doing.
