Sounds great to me. Have we got any other Birmingham sites represented here? Maybe we could do a tour!

I'm in Birmingham too and you would all be very welcome to come to our site, maybe after Robert's?  We are in the north of the city, Robert is in the south but we are very easy to find.  We have a large(ish) meeting room, kitchen and the all-important toilets.  There is a pub just minutes away which does cheap food.

Are we talking about 28th August.  Birmingham area sounds good.  Count me in as well.  I just love seeing other peoples allotments.  I would especially like to see an old traditional allotment site like Roberts.

Unfortunately the 28th August is no good for me as it's the weekend of my grandaughter's birthday and I'll be in Harpenden.
It's a shame because I would have loved you all to visit our allotments... :(

At  the moment I'm free, but as it's bank holiday weekend we might decide at the last minute to go away, so can't really commit myself.

I think they mean a big tent....
I'd vote for Betty's, having seen both sites but would want to avoid the BH weekend... she has an Open Day on the 12th if I remember rightly...
If it all goes off we have another Open Day here in Derby on the first Sunday in September...

We could get to Betty's site its only down the road from our plot. It is a nice big site with a good sized meeting rooms and of course the pub. We go to her open day and all of the proceeds go to charity. We met Saddad and Alison  and Deb P last year at the open day.
When I get old I don't want people thinking

                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I would LOVE it if you all came to our Summer Fayre on August 14th, I never even thought of that so thanks Saddad!

There will be plenty of things to do, lots of food to eat and  lots of cover in case the weather is bad.

As Shirl says, we raise money for the County Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support and every penny we take is divided between them.

The family are away on the 14th (so no bed for me) and 28th is difficult being Bank Holiday and other family commitments. Will make a meet one day!
