Can you ID these eggs?

Just discovered these eggs today and wondering what they are?  Not good I suspect.....

eek! they look a little like slug eggs to me,but you wouldnt get so many together would you?

Are they definitely eggs or could it be a fungus ???

appeared overnight, so not fungus.  They are eggs and looks like the result of a mass spawning.  I'm not taking any chances and will drown them unless someone tells me they are a force for good?

I'd say they look like ant eggs, but usually ant eggs have loads of ants milling around looking after them...so not sure...

I see what you did, you spilt the tapioca on the soil for us to decide whether it was real or not. ;D

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Javahart please do not destroy them, we are all curious as to what they are. Contain them and see what hatches, just hope the have not come from Mars.

Forgot to check on them today but will have a peek tomorrow!

PS Nothing moved, they just appeared.
