It depends what type they are. If they are earlies, and they are in flower, they  may be ready. Easy - count back to when you planted them, if it's over 90 days they should start to have potatoes. And if you just pulled up the plant. dig all around it. I find that earlies fall off the plant once you disturb it, they could be down in the soil!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Earlies are normally ready after the flowers are open, the others when the plants start dieing. If yours are first earlies then you will need to leave then for a little longer, it might be worth while watering them from now on as it has been exceptionally dry, you can keep checking on them from time to time

With earlies I work on 10-12 weeks from the time the emerge out of the soil.

Which roughly agrees with the figure Antipodes works on.

So I guess you will have to be patient for around another 6 weeks at least!
