I think that those who received deciduous trees shouldn't automatically think the trees are dead. At this time of the year  they do lose their leaves! I decided to pot my rowan up where I can see it and water if necessary over the winter. When it shows signs of life in the Spring I shall plant it in its dedicated spot in my garden.

Still waiting for my Rowan tree, its going to go on the community and wildlife area of our allotments.
A couple of years ago 'our' infant school (its 'our' as they make regular visits to our allotments and we visit them to help with their gardening and similar projects) received a selection of mini trees (can't remember what offer it was from) which we went to help plant, they are still small but looking good.

We got a twig with a few dead leaves yesterday and another one today. Both dry as a dry thing.

Wow, that looks really good Stopp.

Mine arrived when I was away, sometime over these last 5 days, it looks in a bit of a sorry state, so have started the TLC.  So hope it survives although I've forgotten what one I ordered ???

Mine arrived a couple of days ago - pretty much dead. Makes you think these people don't know much about trees at all - just a 'green' publicity cover for bog standard coporate greed.

My Rowan arrived on Monday.  It's not very big but is well rooted so I have high hopes for it.  Loved the little jute bag containing the root ball too. :)
