Was in Sainsburys the other night, looking at the tomatoes.

They had packs of 'toatoes on the vne' for £2.50.
one pack had only 5 toms in. Biguns, but still only 5.

Spotted in my local Tesco last week - Cans of Chilli-con-carne £1.49  Special offer...2 for £3!!!!!!!!

If I was running the government I'd introduce a "more money than sense" rate of VAT for stupidly priced items like this. I'm sure the buyers wouldnt even notice!
