Just a quick plug for our plant sale, which is happening this Sunday 9th May 11am-3pm. We are having an early plant sale this year selling heritage tomatoes, bedding plants, flowers and of course veg at bargain prices!

Park on Littleover Lane itself, free admission. Hope the sun shines on us...everyone welcome!

More details on our website here... http://www.littleoverlaneallotments.org.uk/events.htm

The address is:

Littleover Lane Allotments Association

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Technically tours are on Sunday 6th June aand first Sunday in Sept., when we open for NGS and charge £3... but I'm around and not occupied if you want a look round...
I've got plenty of Cherokee, Fi, but not in a planted form!
 :)
More plants like beans and corn will be available on the 6th of June...

The sun shone and we had a really good turnout, saw the Manics ( ;D) and sold a lot of tomatoes, almost £200 worth! Overall takings were around the £500 mark so a good day! ;D ;D ;D

Excellent Deb.... How many toms did you sell? Was I right to think they went better for being earlier in the season?  :)

The amount of stuff we sold made it was a really worthwhile endeavor.......... bedding and perennial plants sold well, there are some of the heritage toms left; cherry, purple and striped varieties were the most popular this time, I shall have to remember that for the future......(what am I saying!) ::)

Is the NGS Open Day going to happen, Deb?
If so I`ll be popping down the A52 again.
Hope it`s not as wet as last year though. :(

Our first Open Day of the year under the NGS scheme is next Sunday, 6th June. I'll put a separate post to remind folks, and yes, the famous samosas will be on sale again! ;D
