Purnell's Complete Cookery
« on: May 03, 2010, 21:47:11 »
I picked up a copy at a village fete today for 20p & have been flicking through it since we got home. Has to be the best value purchase I've ever made!

Very pleased with myself. Just wanted to share that with some people who might appreciate my delight!

I would have given them a bit more if I'd realised what a bargain it was! I reckon I'd get £40 for this condition on e-bay.

As good as it is, it does appear somewhat dated, I mean do you really need a recipe for ham & pineapple on sticks?!

;D ;D ;D......maybe some real young 'uns haven't heard of them. It'll all come back in fashion tha nose Ollie. I love old cookery books. I have one 54 years old.....dropping to bits, but I love it  ;) :)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.
