iplayer problem
« on: April 27, 2010, 22:27:10 »
Is any one else having trouble watching stuff on iplayer or is it me? Its twirly loader thing just goes on for ever and nothing different happens if I try using the lower band width. All was well last week so why it's happening now is a mystery. ???

Hi
I was going to say that you should try the download to desktop option this just downloads the whole file so you can watch it without the dramas. However currently each time you down load you have to install the program again.
But give it a try it might work for you?

Thanks SL, I tried this but 'puter was running really slow by then and wouldn't even play what I had downloaded and when I opened the file(as recommended) all I got was what looked like a script!
The speed turned out to be an isp fault which of course BT denied, insisting I'd got a virus, but the man wot knows everything disproved this. Now all back to top speed though, programme watched and I'm happy. ;D
Thanks again.
