I don't get this 'feels like' business with temperatures. If it feels like it is cold or hot then it is.

Yesturday's Daily Mail used the word SNOW.  So never cast a clout till May is out :(

they don't KNOW, they are only forecasting based on what the weather systems are up to. An unpredictable science to say the least  ;)

I think they're factoring in wind chill.  As sweat evaporates from your skin it cools you.  It's something called the latent heat of vapourization and it's the very reason humans sweat.  So anywho, the windier it is, and the drier the air, the more sweat is evaporated and the cooler you feel.
