I am so pleased that they chose the ending they showed on TV, though it was still very sad to see George die.

I am sorry to see the series go but then time ages people and I think it was the right decision.  Frost looked well past retirement for those in the police force.  I loved the series and will certainly watch repeats of those I haven't already seen two or three times.  Hopefully one may appear that I missed the first time around.

Deprived us of the opportunity to play location spotting. They've filmed around two of our previous houses, two workplaces and at least one local, not to mention all the incidental parks/random streets/shopping centres etc.

To be honest though, I thought they'd called it a day ages ago.

My view is that the actors knew that this would not be used and were, for a joke, camping it up. Well DJ, a well known prankster seemed to be. My apologies to him if I am wrong.........First time for everything....
