There is an amazing garlic and bean starter translated as "Fava Dip/spread" in Turkey and locals say eaten in Greece also. I had always assumed this was made with Broad Beans BUT read under Greece here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicia_faba
It is made with a white bean...anyone know if this is a white Broad Bean...or has anyone eaten the Lathyrus they mention....bit scary re the neurological probs if you eat too much!!!!
