Plocket's Sunset
« on: November 14, 2004, 19:15:50 »
Inspired by Ozzy's sunset I just had to share this picture I took today - I am soooooo pleased with it!

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing which stands in the way... (William Blake)

Plocket that is one of the most beautiful photographs I've ever seen. Really professional.

Would you mind if I copied it and used it for some of my hand-made Christmas cards? They'd only be sent to family members. Also could I let Wanna from RG see it as she adores 'skies' as much as I do? PM me if it's OK. Thanks.

Eileen.

No wonder you are proud, Plocket! It's beautiful.

I took it at Shugborough as we were walking around the gardens - the waterway looks like a river but I've looked at the map and it could possibly be manmade.

The swan family thought we were going to feed them!!!

That is so lovely Plocket.  The way the suns rays are bouncing of the lake is truly breathtaking.  To look at that photograph is to feel tranquil and at peace with the world, such a lovely sight in this ugly war torn world. Brilliant photograph!  At this rate we could easily have a superb a4a calendar with all the beautiful pictures we have seen recently.  :) busy_lizzie
