I have some bronze fennel you are welcome to some. I have it in the garden for a bit of a decorative affect  :) The only thing on your list that leaps out at me is the Ishikura bunching onions - a few of those would be lovely  :)

Morning, as I have too many HSL tommie seeds for my own good ,exchange would be good -some sacred basil and garden peach  if you have any left and I could send some  tommies  some with very long Russian names and good for a couple of years yet.

Gosh Emma, that is an impressive list. How much growing space do you have (and is there anything you do not grow) and how long have you been growing vegetables for? reading that and your past messages, you truly seem to try to grow everything and anything, again, as i said i am truly impressed. (wish you lived near me, i would so be popping over to your place to have a good old nosy around  ;D)

I do love growing 'different' crops/veggies but they seem to fit in around the more ussual things quite well. Saving seed seems a natural extention of growing  :)
My garden looks nothing special just my idea of bliss  :)

I've been looking for Mashua for a while to complete the Andean tuber 'set'. Do you have any left?

I can offer black fleshed potatoes, and a few odds and ends. Blood-veined sorrel? Maybe a few odd unusual chillies. Otherwise I'm all traded out for the year apart from things you already have. I could find you a couple of Chinese artichokes, but I've only recently received them in a swap, and they are already in leaf - could give it a go tho'.

Obviously I'll have to save more seed this year.

Is there a chance of swapping some tiger nuts and some ulluco?

These are 2009 and 2008 French beans I could offer in return.

Rose Family Bean
A very large green bean, with large seeds. We eat them green, but some use mainly the seeds for shelling. Tall variety

Georgian #6. A long to very long green snap bean from Georgia, later than most and just in time for saving seed. Tall growing.

Georgian # 7. This is a wonderful dual use green bean, tall growing with large pods. Also makes wonderful shelling beans. Very robust.

Gramma Walters. This is an Canadian version of the Borlotto beans. Tall growing, red striped fat pods which yield up to 6 yummy round red and white speckled shelling beans.

Rattlesnake.  Early, slightly curved green pods with dark purple striping. We use them for green pods, but some people use them for dry seeds. Tall bean. One of a handful of varieties that seem to thrive in just about any climate.

Boston Beauty. A bush, dwarf variety. The seeds are similar to Trout aka Jacob's Cattle but a variety in their own right. Early, dry bean.

Cousin Oliver's. Tall bean. Green with purple striping. Very nice as green beans but need their string removing. Prolific. Also good for dry seed.

Brejo. This is an Indian Bean that grows very well in northern areas. The pods are light green, up to a foot long and an inch wide. An impressing looking snap bean. On the side towards the sun the beans develop some pretty red speckling Tall growing.

Piros Feher. This is a Hungarian heirloom bean. Dwarf, bush bean with Red and white seeds. Piros is red and feher white in Hungarian. This is the Hungarian answer to Trout or Boston Beauty.

Georgian #2. This is from packet 2. A robust, dwarf bush bean producing lots of larger than average reddish drying beans. .

On a slightly different tack, I'm growing Brejo for the HSL this year. It sounds like a good bean from what you say. What size should the green beans be picked at? I'm wondering how tender they're likely to be at a foot long!
