Only this afternoon I was asked if I could think of any innovative ways to help raise funds for the little triffids' school (big, expensive build now underway, to provide new kitchen, hall extension and enlarged and improved reception year classes).
I unexpectedly heard myself saying, 'Well, I suppose I could grow some plants, if the PA wouldn't mind buying the seeds and compost... ' ... They nearly bit my hand off.
So I've managed to buy twice the seeds I thought I'd manage. Yay! ;D

...but very very quietly so family don't wake and think I've finally given up trying to keep a grip on my sanity*
