What's best to do?
« on: March 01, 2010, 23:39:14 »
A few weeks ago I bought 9 asparagus plants, which are growing very quickly in their bags.

The ground I feel is far too cold and wet to plant them and I don't want to lose them.  I don't think having them in the bags is very good but don't know what to do with them if I take them out and am reluctant to plant in cold wet soil.

What would you do with them?

Plant them in pots for a bit I guess though I've never grown asparagus.

I more or less agree with GA but I would use trays so that you can spread the roots out a bit, as you would do if planting directly into a trench!
