« on: October 31, 2004, 23:08:24 »
Our familys attempts today.

As they were before.

teehee.  This is Ava's carving, a teeny tiny red devil Kuri squash.  Cute, but menacing!

Jessica's side 1 (an my fave side!)

Jessica's side 2

James's scarey face.

Ellie (stepdaughter) winter carnival ogre.  Why only carve pumpkins huh!  ;D

 The finished army! (with James!!)

Great lanterns, EJ. Well done all the family! When I was a child (and dinosaurs roamed the earth) we always carved neaps instead of pumpkins and no Hallowe'en party was complete without a "neapie lantern" competiton. There were plenty of scary ones, but most were silly such as teapots or mice (turned on their side). I remember one with a fright wig on. Tina Turner. Very lifelike!  ;D

I know it's a bit late, but as I'm finally able to post pics thought I would show my effort this year? Was great fun seeing these pumpkins grow on the lottie, but was lucky to harvest them as some oik had gone down the night before and cut them from the stalk but fortunately they were too heavy to carry too far....at least they didn't destroy them....thank heavens for small mercies! Chappy in picture is youngest son.
