Bird brained
« on: February 02, 2010, 12:31:05 »
Where does the derogatory term "birdbrained" come from? - certainly not my blackbirds.
Picture this:- Mr.Blackbird perched on top of clematis covered fence singing gaily (NOT the alarm call) my cat on the ground chattering hid teeth at it , while behind the cat Mrs. Blackbird is busy foraging in the grass, after several minutes she flies off & then so does Mr B.
Just wish my camera had been handy.
