Hello chaps.
We have a yucca in our sitting room which we've had for a year now. I really don't like houseplants - I always kill them, and don't care what that says about me as a gardener!
Anyway, this Yucca has been fine but over the past month quite a lot of the leaves at the bottom of each growing stem have been yellowing. The newest leaves look fine and there is new growth. I only water when the soil feels dry as my chief method of killing houseplants is to drown the blighters. Is this normal for yuccas? As I said, I'm not really a fan of growing stuff inside - have only really had success with a massive hoya which is now sprawling around the kitchen and is very pretty - so am asking real stupid questions here!
Thanks for the help I know I'll get from lovely A4A people!
Isabel
