Kraft had to borrow £7billion to finace this deal,so Cadbury will be owned by a company who are in debt it's not hard to see whats going to  happen, just look back at when they got there hands on Terry's they closed there York site down with the loss of hundreds a jobs The only winner will be Todd Stitzer with a £10 million pay off plus a £1.5 million a year pension fund he's got with Cadbury.

Just in case you thought Labour had any credibility left... The British tax payer is lending the money (via RBS) to Kraft for it to buy Cadburys!!!

cadburys always been my favourite closely followed by Nestle. Anyone noticed how Nestle have gone downhill since they got tookover? Kit-Kats and Toffee Crisps just taste too sweet and not chocolatey. I hope Cadburys don't go the same way.

Kraft Creme Egg? The Kraft bunny? I think not.  >:(
I already try and botcott Nestle as much as possible-it's almost impossible to boycott them completely as they have a finger in every pie going-L'Oreal, Whiskas and Felix, it's insane. Why on earth is RBS financing Krafts takeover? If they can't afford it why oh why are they being allowed to buy it.

Chocolate and cheese both give me migrane. But seeing as Cadbury and Kraft only make poor imitations, what are we worried about. Cadbury products are negative calories, nobody this side of the pond would eat the ersatz cheese that Kraft peddles. Nobody will be out of work once the marketing boys get on the job and do a Sunny Delight makeover on the products.

When Kraft first tried to buy out Cadbury's they said they were going to keep Somerdale the Kynesham factory open as Cadbury's intended to shut it and move production to Poland (they are building a factory over there) but lacal papers say there is no mention of this now and Kraft are expected to say that dismanteling the factory has gone to far to halt the closure

so Cadbury's was not going to be British made chocolate but Polish

I was in WHSmith today, the young lady at the counter said "Would you like a large bar of Cadbury's chocolate for £1?"  I smiled and said I was boycotting Cadbury since the takeover, (albeit they would have bought those supplies in before) she looked a little puzzled and said she didn't know anything about it!

Ah well, another enlightened person  :(
