at last, after all sorts of extra checking up, we now have a nice balance in the bank, I suggested s0d the greenhouse, lets all go to somewhere warm for a week ;D
anyway, greenhouse is ordered, so is the shed so, in the new year, weather permitting, the base will be started  :)

They do say a well prepared GH base saves a lot of heartache later.... apparently.  (We need a new garden shed but I am holding out for another year if OH lets me get away with it.)

for the site as a whole, elvis, got about 6,800 but most is for the greenhouse, quite expensive but worth it, plus it's erected by an experienced team  :)

Where did you get the grant from, and was it very complicated to apply for?

Hiya, Squash, Happy Christmas  ;D
the grant was from awards for all, the lottery people, the forms weren't too bad, I filled in an on line one and it got lost so we had to send the rough copies, then we were singled out(they do this from time to time) to be further questioned, not too bad, just signed copies of cnstitution and bank statements, stuff like that, anyway, we had down to start december, it just means it'll start in the new year, we only have to re-do the base then it's going to be done for us  ;D

How long ago did you apply for the grant?

the original was in june, the second one was in august, after I rang and found out the on line app had gone into the ether..we found in october the committee wanted  further details, found out 4 weeks ago we had it, in principal and, 23rd, the money went in, we were told it can be 4 to 5 months  :)
