Thank you my dears!
It was an eventful day - what was supposed to be a relaxing day at the spa turned into a 2 1/2 hour journey home (normally 15 mins), but at least I got there unlike many others! Needless to say dinner out was not an option but hubby managed to conjure something up.
Best belated birthday present was getting the power back on in the early hours thanks to the wonderful electricity guys who worked under arc lights to do it. We gave them some wine! Am so relieved to have heating!
