Swapping in advance - edibles
« on: October 18, 2004, 13:36:11 »
These are the seeds I'm planning on buying this year. If you want to do a swap for any of them, let me know. Or if you have any of the seeds I'm planning to buy and want to swap for any other seed I'm buying, let me know too. The numbers are the number of seeds I will swap - let me know how many you want.

I'm planning on buying:

Carrot Sugar Snax 100
Courgette Genovese (Organic) 5
Courgette Gold Rush (Organic) 5
Lambs lettuce/Corn Salad Vit (Organic) 500
Melon Sweetheart 5
Parsley Italian (Org) 500
Pepper Marconi Rossa (Org) 30
Pepper Yellow Ono (Org) 25
Rocket Wild (Org) 400
Sweetcorn Kelvedon Glory 20
Tomato Golden Sunrise 20
Tomato San Marzano (Org) 25
Tomato Tigerella 20
Tomato Roma 15
Tomato First in the Field 20
Broad Bean Aquadulce (Org) 15
Hot Pepper Meek and Mild/Poblano 10

I want:

Seed potatoes - only a few - earlies, pref Charlotte and Anya.
Elephant garlic - a couple of gloves
Brussel Sprouts - pref early F1 variety or a red variety
Squash - small summer varieties (not patty pans - I have them!)
Cumin
Lemon Balm
Asparagas
Cottage garden periennials (especially unusual Aquilegias!)
Anything else considered.

In my mum's local garden centre- Baytree just outside Spalding, there were T&M specific offers different from the catalogue - I got sugarsnax for free (or was it 69p trial price) when I bought 1 (or was it 2) packets of T&M seeds. Just checked - was 69p with 1 packet of T&M seeds. Also, managed to get annual summer sprouting purple broccoli free with 2 other packets of seeds.
I have now remembered what I ordered from T&M - ordered brussel sprouts (bedforn fillbasket) so Falstaff (novelty purple-red) should be free. I don't think I will be getting through 80 seeds of that! Do you fancy some seeds of Falstaff, in exchange for a couple of meek and mild chillis?

Yes please MV! I was rather tempted by the sprout offer, but I'd never grow that many. I'm getting Sugarsnax from T&M.

Thanks!

Aqui, do you want asparagus crowns or seed. I'm planning on buying some seed, and i'm eyeing up some of those toms on your list. Also planning on brussells, cauli, onion seed, leeks, PS broccoli, cabbage, and a load of others.

I already have flat leaf parsley too if you want to swap for some of that.

Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.
