Sweet peas
« on: December 09, 2009, 19:02:18 »
The sweet peas that I planted in pots in my Argos plastic greenhouse are just starting to grow.  Have saved lots of seeds to plant in the Spring, but will see how these do.  The greenhouse is weighted down and the cat sleeps there (not my cat), have left the front open as it is not too cold here at present.

I've put mine in a plastic box with a piece of perspex for the top.  I have great difficulty remembering to put the top back on every night!  I've got a little mini plastic greenhouse for Christmas, but am not allowed to open it until Christmas Day!

Plastic greenhouses are great, but have mine in a sheltered garden against a wall and bricks and compost bags to hold it down.  Before I did that I lost one as the wind just blew it away with all my seed boxes in it, saved some and it was a surprise to know what was what.  Brussel sprouts and cabbages and cauliflower all got mixed up, but it ended up OK.
