Lambrusco was 70s.  Chardonnay was the wine of the 80s and 'designer' beers.

Yuppies and dinkies (double income no kids) arrived in the 80s.

For you that still have the little uns. Make the most of them, they are soon gone.

Yeah but if you're careful you can make the leftovers last several days surely..... I mean there's a fair amount of meat on the average six-year old these days.......

I bet you was one of the tight s0ds that brought pomagne to a party then drank all the good stuff ;D

You are the only one who has admitted knowing the stuff, I've lost count of clearing up after a 'bit of a do' and ended up with a cupboard full of pomange and lambrusco and empty bottles of gordons and glenfiddick. ;D

I think I will go and 'gently down a merrydown'   Now that shows my age.

Ace, being a lot younger them than your goodself, I was only a teenager in the early 80's and everyone used to bring a bottle of pommy and the whole lot was drunk before I went home.
Now merrydown is a different matter.  :P    ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
