One of my birthday presents
« on: January 02, 2011, 18:41:06 »
is a bottle of BNJ Whisky.

What a shame I will never be able to afford to buy myself a bottle!!

I'm not a buff, but when it says smooth - with vanilla & pears - & a touch of smoke etc, it means it

I'm not a whisky drinker Tim but a friend who is a buff thinks that it's a damned fine drink.  So cheers!  :)

Now that everyone is long gone, it's rather nice to do a bit of lone sampling. How about this one?

Colour: Gold
Nose: The dry, fresh, fruity aromas of early autumn apples and pears are subtly enhanced with sweet notes of vanilla and mint toffee.
Taste: Exceptionally smooth and creamy, with spicy-sweet nutmeg and honey combining with the dewy freshness of autumn fruits.
Finish: Long, soft and warming.

Abelour 10 year old.

Tim I do envy you somewhat as I can't drink alcohol and my sense of smell and taste is minimal so I'll make do with a cup of tea!  Cheers again!  :)
