Reply from the council about the sea weed!!
« on: December 11, 2009, 07:07:11 »
Morning,
I have had a reply from the council about the sea weed!! Not that exciting! All they said was that I was free to take any seaweed in small quantities but couldn't start taking it by the truck load!
Many thanks
Jono

By the truckload would imply that you are making it a commercial enterprise and therefore profiting from it, and they would want a cut.  Good to know, now just wait for some stormy weather  ;) ;) ;)

Nice one 1066 How much is a truck load if you take it a few bags at a time you can collect several lorry loads - but at a bit at a time!!

I don't think that I will ever ask as if they do say no - then I can't!

Unfortunately we have none of the stuff at the moment - storms or no storms we have to wait for the exact right conditions so that there is a bit to collect!
