Morning,
I have had a reply from the council about the sea weed!! Not that exciting! All they said was that I was free to take any seaweed in small quantities but couldn't start taking it by the truck load!

By the truckload would imply that you are making it a commercial enterprise and therefore profiting from it, and they would want a cut. Good to know, now just wait for some stormy weather ;) ;) ;)

Nice one 1066 How much is a truck load if you take it a few bags at a time you can collect several lorry loads - but at a bit at a time!!
I don't think that I will ever ask as if they do say no - then I can't!
Unfortunately we have none of the stuff at the moment - storms or no storms we have to wait for the exact right conditions so that there is a bit to collect!
