Joe is very, very naughty and he may get a nasty letter soon, didn't even pickup his pumpkin.  People on the allotment very good and no-one took anything and it was all going to waste.

According to friend of mine who works for BBC;on  Gardeners World a good portion of GW cast will seeking alternative employment.

As for Carol, she  will not be returning after her performance this season.
Toby most likely will not have his contract extended. Alys will be back where she belongs doing  head gardener work behind the scenes. Joe will most likely be booted from country for crimes related to imitating a gardener/allotmenteer.
Basically the BBC will be making clean sweep.
Mr Tichmarsh is being consulted on how get show back to where it should be and head writer /resident expert on doing proper  gardening show.

Welcome to the forum mrestofus.

Interesting to hear that GW to be revamped.  Used to love it.  But I find it somewhat remiss of the BBC to have leaks of this kind rather than make formal annoucements of their plans.

Seems a pity that Joe Swift wasted his veg, he could have made sure that his produce found a good home, after all our licence fees paid for it.

I actually thought Toby was alright, for what it's worth - at least he had some credibility (from the fruit and veg side at least which is mostly what I'm interested in). I prefer the "make and do" approach to the previous buy everything in and d**n the expense. A bit harsh to right off Alys already, but not bothered with the other two.

I'd really prefer if they had a dedicated fruit and veg/ allotment programme, as too much isn't really of interest to me at the moment. Maybe they could do alternate weeks between edible/ non edible and get a bit of depth.

Who is Jamse Perry???

What entitles him/her to speak for the nation??

I always have a sneaky feeling that the people who knock this programme unmercifully,no matter what they do are just a teeny bit jealous that it ain't them before the camera giving their own expert knowledge.   :D :D :D

I've heard he's being asked to come back and host GW too. I must admit I was disappointed when he moved on and stopped watching it completely when Monty left as I wasn't very keen on the presenters but if A comes back I'll be first with the remote ...
