My first harvest
« on: November 08, 2009, 15:43:55 »
My first proper vegetable from my allotment, I got the allotment in june this year, it had 4ft of grass over it so dug it over and planted loads of seeds and plants, got a good crop of tomatoes and beans (from plants) got a goodish crop of potatoes but were rather small.

We planted 5 parsnip seeds but only one took see photo.

Brocolli cauliflower and brussells have all failed but cabbages leeks and onions have done ok.

James well done, and don't be discouraged by the failures as we all have them!  I like this advice I saw earlier on another thread

You might have to reduce the size of the photo, which is what happened to me when I first tried to post.
