Have I missed out?
« on: November 09, 2009, 11:49:20 »
Hi all,
While being away from the forum I seem to have missed out on a lot of goings on.
Does this mean we are a few members down?
I am unsure which of the topics are good to read and which are not to be believed, I had hoped that the time away would have been fruitful for all, but alas the same old problems have reared their ugly heads.
People have a right to their opinions, just be careful how you air them.
If you are likely to offend then do not publish it, but PM the person with your concerns or grips and see if you can resolve them without being underhanded.
I would not take any offence to what has been a good site to which I would not leave due to bad mouthing of any person.
I am a person who I hope is understanding for the most and caring for the rest.
It seems to me that people get set in their ways and will not bend.
As has been said all to often, you can get further with discussion than with fighting over the spoils of a war.
Lay down your arms and forgive one another, keep the peace and dig you own plot.
Be of good cheer to one another and do not be bitter.
You only have one life, so live it to the full. Do not become bitter as the life you have is but a short one compared with time itself.
Give each other a hug and then sit down with a nice cup of tea.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

It was firework night last week and after all the commotion things have quietened down really nicely.

And mine's a coffee if you can manage it.  :D

Well all,

Thanks for having me back.
I must say that I have been out of the loop for a few weeks and now can get back to you all.
Work needed me to get back on track and pass all the tests which are now out of the way.
The garden is a bit worse for wear due to the amount of study required, but hopefully I can get on top of the weeds and fallen annuals now.
Sorry to say that the giant coldframe is now in pieces awaiting me to reduce it in size.
I have started some plants from seed ready for next year, have to wait and see if they come good or no.
I still have plenty of carrots and parsley to eat, strawberries are still on the plants and we have had some late rocket to sample.
I do have one bed full of Mustard plants awaiting to be dug in when its ready.
Lots to do and little light to complete the tasks.

Got them back now to put some tread on them
