Kane and Abel

Great book definitely by smarmy been in prison for perjury politician millionaire life peer sticky muddy type.  Probably no 3 on my list of best books.  I was lent the book years ago and read it before knowledge of the author could cloud my judgement of the book.

Film staring Peter Strauss and Sam Neil also good.

Apparently Private Eye has a character called Lord Archole.

Presume the guy does not know where fact stops and fiction starts.  My mother suffered from the same affliction so I know something of that nightmare.

If I was the science fiction guy I think I would change my name.
