There are several strings from different times of harvest, you can see the top ones are the freshest. When they are dry and crispy I cut the tops off and roll them upside down between my hands to get most of the seeds out. Then I either make hot pepper paste, (with or without garlic) with vinagre, or I chop them in an electric chopper to get flakes. Keeps for a long, long time.

They look amazing - really decorative!

Did you tie them onto the string or sow them on?

Oh jeez, I was thinking of a witty answer to this one, thought it was a joke. Peppers growing themselves onto the thread hehe.

Not being a native English speaker I took the sow as in to sow the seeds, this morning I read it again and realized it probably was a typo and you meant sew as in sewing with thread and needle hahaha.

I just took thread and needle and pushed the needle through the top of the peppers, simple as that.

Hey! Did you know that is one word you cannot write? ???
For example...
"The farmer was out in the fields sowing his seeds, whilst his wife was at home sewing the farmers socks".

"They were both s-wing" ???

 ;D ;D ;DRoy ;D ;D ;D

Huh? You got me confused now.
You can't hear the difference but you see the difference when written right?

Strung mine this morning, inspired by you Ina.  They look absolutely stunning like this and would cost you a fortune in a deli!
