I don't watch TV myself but I thought you might like to know that the baby in it is my granddaughter!   :)

To be frank I thoroughly disapproved of the whole thing but my daughter assured me is was all very tastefully done with a professional midwife in attendance and very strict rules re filming times etc.  In my book she's a little star withoutout being on TV but hey ho, I'm only nanny!   ;D

I've been watching it, it's very intense.  The baby is adorable Georgie.

Yes!  I don't watch much television but a friend told me this was good so I'm watching.  Your granddaughter is beautiful!
I was wondering about the scene just after the baby is born and is shown still with blood on her.  They didn't really film her immediately after birth did they?  Or is it very clever makeup?

No she was two weeks old when it was shot so just clever make up.  Sorry!

Did your daughter get a cd when filming had finished so you could see it or is she recording it for you?

It's very long and drawn out I think they are just trying to capture higher viewing figures, I gave up after the first two episodes.

I've been glued to this! There is so much rubbish on nowadays, this really makes a change.

Gave up watching after sitting through the first episode where nothing much seemed to happen.  Seemed a bit slow and predictable - maybe it has warmed up a little since.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

OH says it could have done in 3 episodes. The same could be said about his beloved cricket ;D ;D ;D. I am really enjoying it.
