they have landed

got my chickens installed satuday, 6 warren browns. they have layed 7 eggs already, ive at 4 lol.

Wish I could have chooks.  Love real eggs with the dark orange yolks.  Buy free range  but they are not much different from the battery ones.

Although mine are in a run - I do let them out to forage when I am around - but I actually read the label on their "non organic" food which informs me that colouring is added!!!

So - although they lay brilliant eggs with dark yellow yolks - that may not be because they are able to eat greens!!

I would never again go back to "shop eggs" though - they do taste different - and are much much nicer!
