Hi Mick. You are in luck if you don't want flat biscuits. These are called ginger hollows. My daughter asked if I still had the recipe the other day. She's 38 now & they are one of her childhood memories. 4oz marg. 12ozs castor sugar. 1 lge egg. 9ozs SR flour. 2 level tsp dried ginger.Cream the marg & sugar, add the egg. Stir in flour & ginger sieved together.Knead lightly. Take pieces about the size of a walnut & roll into balls. Place well apart on a baking tray. (I use the non stick parchment). Bake at 300deg F 150deg C for about 25 mins.If you have a fan oven the heat will be 10% lower.
