the only answer to potato blight that I know is to spray with Bordeaux mix but our allotments are supposed to be organic so can't use that.......any other suggestions please

Welcome to A4A LinJack,
If fully organic on site the best solution is to grow earlies through to early mains.. early mains will be out by the end of July which is usually early enough to avoid blight... :)

Commercial organic growers are permitted to use controlled spraying with Bordeaux Mix under Soil Assocaition rules. There are no such ruiles for 'amateur' growers so it's up to you how you define 'organic' for your own purposes.
