seaside edibles
« on: August 22, 2009, 01:30:53 »
I went to the seaside on Wednesday with my brood and observed that the wild cabbage and the sea beet in the area had ripe ready to gather seeds. i picked some seeds of both but the sea beet ended up in my pocket which i stupidly washed today and lost the lot :-[.

is there anyone by the coast who has seen some sea beet with ripe seeds about and would you mind gathering some for me.

here is a link to a picture of the seeds on the plants to help with identification;

wouldn't dream of it, got some seed via a swap, will be attempting to grow it next spring.
