« on: August 13, 2009, 10:53:03 »
I have had a fair amount of time to watch TV lately. This programme makes me laugh :)They look around a kitchen and say things like hmmm the size is not too big but OK.OK the kitchen is about the whole size of my place. :o ::)

And I live in the country LOL

Some people do not know they are born :)

What always get me is the amount of money they have to spend - especially when most of the really rich one's intelligence resembles what comes out of a pig's backside.  Where do they get the money, that's what I want to know!

What annoys me is that there is a lovely kitchen and bathroom and they just say that will all have to be replaced, (why) and the ones they are taking out are better than mine.  Also saw one where they wanted a field for the horse, and they said they had to keep within budget and then bought another horse, these people must be rich.  Quite enjoy looking at the gardens that want to go in the Yellow Book, then they open them to the public and give the money to charity.

No, they're not rich, they're just the silly b*****s who try to show they are rich.

The rich ones are those that make do with what they have, shop at ALDI or LIDL and save their own seeds. They only use a credit card to the amount they can pay every month. They don't have mortgages.

To be rich, you don't have to have a lot of money, just manage what you have WELL.

I save my own seeds, have paid off the mortgage, and don't have a credit card.  Don't like shopping at Lidl, find it a depressing shop, well the one in Enfield anyway.  Do go to the pound shop sometimes.  When a man rang up offering me money to get me out of debt, said I didn't have any debt, and he said 'you are a very fortunate 'young' lady.  I said I will lend you £100 if you give me £500 back and he rang off.  Would like a bigger garden, but have to make do with the allotment, as now I am retired can't take on a bigger mortgage and if we moved away from London would not see the grandchildren so often, so have decided to be happy with what I have got.

I think it is great to open allotments to the public, but unfortunately mine is a bit of a mess, although I love it.  Every day something different grows, and sometimes I haven't even planted it.  Just finished freezing runner beans, and trying to give courgettes to neighbours, hope they don't give them back or it will mean making more courgette soup.  Where are you again Saddad, bit far for me to travel on my bike.  :( :(

Got it now, Derby, in Derbyshire, still think it is a bit too far for me to cycle.  Where is Derby, is it up north, better get the map out.  Have a great day from London.

I failed my Geography ecxam and my sppelling exam.  But we had to do the rivers in China, so don't know where you are, never did England or Scotland.   I was clever (ha, ha) so went to Grammar School, but it was so so boring.  Made up the rivers in China, think they have a lot, like Poo Ming Cho, or whatever, but I failed.  Used to sleep through the National Geograpical Society films, which was good.
