I did download a pattern from sewing patterns.com because i needed it in a hurry- hmm- of course it downloaded onto about a hundred A4 sheets and took ages to piece together. However, I've got it now.

I had seen the download versions on some of the sites and wondered exactly that! About a million sheets of A4! I think that would have put me off for life  :D

I'ts the same if you download a Burda pattern from the site. Once you get going piecing it together and cutting it out it's not so bad but it does take time.
Taking patterns from other clothes is a great idea too, especially if you can unpick them and not have to sew them up again. ;D
Smile, it confuses people.
