one legged starling
« on: July 24, 2009, 10:25:36 »
Hi all

just wanted to share a picture of our one legged young starling, all the other starlings have dissapeared after months of watching them demolish anything edible in the garden and leaving nothing for the other birds (although i will admit i actually miss them now) Anyway we now believe this one left actually thinks its a sparrow and comes in to eat with the sparrows - we just hope it survives as we have become quite attached to it. :-\

I'm sure it has - we see very few starlings at the mo, they're all out fossicking in the wood and fields  :)
