I take it you intend to store drinks or pickles in the glassware.
Having put so much effort into brewing, wine making and pickling, I daren't cut corners on hygiene. I wash all glassware till it is bright, then rinse with VWP (from brew shops) or sodium metabisulphate. Close or cover the glassware and store it away.
Before filling, I rinse the glassware again with VWP or sodium metabisulphate.
