« on: July 05, 2009, 17:54:00 »

Need to start harvesting these or the birdies are gonna get them [ where are they ? ]

Don't have a cherry de - stoner  --  does anyone have a DIY method where I don't have to cut the cherry in half ?

    Thanks,

Oh manics,  ---    they are soooooo   sour,   only for sauce, syrup or jam,

... did warn him but No 1 son picked and eat ---   then said ''  wheres the compost bin !!! ''

Thank you for your interest , -  gotta think of another way !

Where we live , finding a cherry de- stoner, would mean trawling half of Hertfordshire,

-- via the elite suburbs,  who's got the time, gotta water !!

I steamed my cherries, let them cool down and then squished each stone out by hand.
It was a bit messy, but I am using them for pie filling.

Mine are stella cherries.
